Jacinto Jardim. With a degree in Social Sciences, he is a professor and researcher at the Open University (UAb-Lisbon), where he is the coordinator of the Masters in Entrepreneurship and Global Citizenship (MECG) and the Center for Global Studies (CEG-UAb). He is a Portuguese academic with extensive knowledge and know-how in educational science, entrepreneurship, and management. He earned a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Aveiro (UA-Aveiro), a master’s degree in educational sciences from the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP-Lisbon), and a degree in Educational Sciences from the Pontifical Salesian University (UPS-Rome). Furthermore, he also held a specialist degree in Management and Administration from the Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology (ISLA Gaia). He had two post-doctorates in Entrepreneurship and Education from the University of Aveiro, UCP, and the University of Lisbon and a degree in Theology from UCP-Lisbon. He founded the International Network for Education for Entrepreneurship (RIEE) and the Permanent International Forum for Education for Entrepreneurship (FIPEE), which brings together entrepreneurship experts monthly, mainly from Portuguese and Spanish-speaking countries. It operates nationally and internationally, distinguishing itself by connecting people and institutions and by interconnecting teaching, research and dissemination of knowledge.
