Ross J. Smith holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in structural engineering from the University of Michigan, and is a licensed professional engineer in three states. Working over twenty years in forensic engineering has provided an endless succession of challenges, opportunities, and intrigue as he investigates damages from fires, floods, tornados, and structural collapses. While he has an exciting career, Ross’ greatest love and adventure is his family.
