Marco Agüero-Montero was born in 1974 in Caracas, Venezuela and lived in Barquisimeto for most of his life.He graduated from Colegio La Salle de Barquisimeto in 1992 and later graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Yacambú University in 1998.He currently lives in Orlando, Florida, where he has lived in exile since arriving in the United States in 2014.In the time he has lived in the United States he has developed curiosity about art and literature.He wrote the book "8 Years" in which he tells of his experiences working in one of the best electrical service companies in the country and how it rapidly deteriorated shortly after it was forcibly taken over by the Venezuelan regime, initiating persecutions of the entire personnel who raised their voices against the Chavista dictatorship, including him.Author of the book "The Immigrant Tourist", a book based on real life, in which he tells the experiences of a Venezuelan who arrived in the United States with a tourist visa but immediately requested asylum so as not to have to return to face the Chavista dictatorship. He also tells about the difficult moments he experiences in the first year of his arrival as well as the benefits of living in a free and democratic country, things that the character in his book knows how to value very well.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
