Mainor Loría Núñez was born on April 28, 1963 in Puerto Quepos, Puntarenas, Costa Rica and is currently in early retirement, so he is dedicated solely to his literary career, which allows him to export his works worldwide. The author had the opportunity to study on scholarship in Europe from 1982 to 1988 and upon graduation worked in the Costa Rican state sector: 21 years in middle management of Information Technology and Systems Auditing of Banco Popular and 6 years as head of Computer Auditing in JAPDEVA, besides founding his own consulting firm and worked for a while as Senior Consultant of Computer Security in the Mexican company Scitum S. A. Mainor Loría is one of the Costa Rican writers who still writes about love and his odes to romanticism are reflected in his previous books, published in 1992 ("Love as immense as the sea") and 1997 ("That ardent way of loving").The author has distinguished himself by supporting charitable, humanitarian and social good works, donating all the money collected from the sale of his books to orphanages, old people's homes, victims of natural or anthropic disasters, families in extreme poverty and children who underwent complicated surgeries abroad. In his book "Poems of love and freedom" the writer shows us that life without love is meaningless and that human beings have the possibility of loving with full intensity at any stage of our lives, either in a state of mental slavery and alienated heart (when we lose our reason and love the wrong person) or making the decision to love in absolute freedom. In his collection of poems "The core of my heart" the author assures that if you keep only positive things and good people in your heart, you will be able to give humanity wonderful acts of kindness and that everything you do with love will not only be gratifying, but will inevitably seek excellence. In his autobiographical novel, called "Chronicle of a fiery journey through Europe" the author tells in a chronological, honest and sometimes controversial way about his peasant and humble roots, which was not an obstacle to excel as a student, amateur soccer player and writer, after graduating with a Master's degree in Computer Science. In his collection of poems "The time of our love" the author shows the importance of this wonderful feeling in the life of the human being, which comes neither before nor after, but at the right time and brings us the person who will generate our best version, since God's time is perfect and his power, infinite and cosmic. In his poetry book "You hide in my universe" the writer expresses that the big or small things of love are evident and no matter how much the person tries to hide them, they come to light at any time and then they must be defended at all costs. In his science fiction novel "Journeys through unknown constellations" the author tells of his fascination with the search for extraterrestrial life and his chance encounter with an advanced civilization, which arrived on Earth from the Alpha Centauri star system and invited him to travel in a spaceship, both to his home world and to several other constellations. In his science fiction novel "A Fortuitous Return to Alpha Centauri" the author recounts his return journey to the Alpha Centauri star system, where he experiences, along with other Earthlings who accompanied him, exceptional adventures and receives from the Centauri civilization, new missions to search for alien biological evidence. In his fiction and adventure novel "Finding Vanished Civilizations" the author tells about his travels around the world, searching for the vestiges of mysterious civilizations and then describes his career as an astronaut and his research in space stations and on the frozen ground of Mars.In the novel of suspense and terror “The mysterious volcano castle” the author tells about abnormal events that happen in an enigmatic castle built on top of the volcano Rincón de la Vieja by an aristocratic Transylvanian family two hundred years ago and the struggle of a triad of warriors to capture and punish them. In the collection of poems “Adhered to my subconscious” the writer tells about the spiritual and loving relationships that people build and that often endure despite the time elapsed, because a simple breakup can not end the ethereal feelings that arose between them.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
