Miss Nina is a passionate children's book author inspired by the wonders of the natural world. With a robust background in education and child development, she began writing books when she realized a gap in available resources that could foster a connection between children and nature. Her journey started from her own need to find engaging educational materials for her classroom and her son.Miss Nina brings over thirteen years of experience working directly with children and training educators, utilizing her understanding of child psychology to craft stories that are not only enjoyable but also educational. She holds a B.A. in Literature, a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Puerto Rico, and an M.A. in School Psychology from The Ohio State University. Currently residing in Washington State with her husband and son, Miss Nina continues to inspire young minds to explore and appreciate the natural world around them. She currently serves as a Professional Development Specialist for the Council for Professional Recognition, where she guides early educators through the Child Development Associate credentialing process.
