The cast samples were subjected toT6 Heat treatment. Artificial ageing treatment was carried out for a different du-ration (4–12 hours) with constant temperature of (155 o C).
Wear tests was carried out by using pin on disc apparatus based on Taguchi’s design, considering aging time, % reinforcement, speed, distance and load as input parameters. The concept of this project is to reduce the wear rate.
