Jorge Muñoz SánchezBiographyJorge Muñoz Sánchez was born in Ávila in 1982, a region of saints and stones. In the Castilian city of the same name, amidst Renaissance palaces of knights and surrounded by an imposing wall, the pride and soul of all its inhabitants. The region of Ávila, being the cradle of great figures of Castilian Renaissance and universal mysticism, serves as a vantage point and "locus mundi" of the author's life as he journeys through the world. Figures such as San Juan de la Cruz, Isabel la Católica, José Jiménez Lozano, Jorge Santayana, and Santa Teresa de Jesús influenced the author from a very young age.A passionate reader of universal classic works, he combines his passion for philosophy and literature of ancient sages with a love for travel and the adventure of delving into the soul of the richness of other cultures. Thus, he came to discover the wonderful Japanese culture out of love; its history, literature, customs, and people.A lover of walks and nature, he considers himself a curious person of our time, constantly seeking to immerse himself in the depth of experiences towards the meaning of the good life. A keen observer of nature, he speaks Spanish, German, and Japanese. He has lived in different regions of Europe and is grateful to life for knowing many people. The book is the result of the author's work, research, reflections, and personal meditations. All this inner evolution and flow of the author's being has been channeled into a vision of life reflected in his only written work so far: "Twelve Philosophical Stories."Read more about this authorRead less about this author
