Maurizio Milesi was born in 1993 in Alzano Lombardo, near Bergamo. He graduated in Communication Sciences with a thesis in Semiotics of Portraiture, and it is through portraiture that in 2020 he narrated the places where he has always lived, overwhelmed by Covid19. Focusing on the faces, and looks, of the inhabitants of the Seriana Valley, he sought to make visible the effects, not only physical, but psychological, of the epidemic. And his shots, exhibited in various cities, later became a book, "Epicentro."He favors portraiture because more than shapes, light, and colors, he is interested in emotions.
