The problem, as I see it, is that no one has created an efficient method of harnessing the sun which could result in the shrinkage of solar panels down to a micro mini size similar to what is used by a wallet calculator. Reactance can use a solar panel the size of a postage stamp to supply the power for an electric vehicle or a home.It is not socially acceptable to admit that reactive power can be used to augment limited electrical resources to power all of our appliances and remain independent of the utility grid, but only if we do not overwhelm reactance with enough input from voltage to fully power our appliances.Our disbelief in free energy is self fulfilling, because we believe that reactive power is not abundant. We also believe that reactive power cannot be converted into real power and supply us with abundant energy. We are so proficient at conning ourselves into these beliefs that we are convinced that these beliefs are laws of nature.We are responsible for maintaining this condition by overwhelming reactance with a level of input voltage which is far in excess of the environmental average - which is a few microvolts (parts per millionth of a volt).Furthermore, reactive power is not useless because it can readily be converted into real power by passing it through a resistive heating element to boil water and drive a steam turbine and rotate an electrical generator.This is exactly what nuclear power plants do but with a distinct difference in which reactance does not produce plutonium as a consequence of capacitors and coils of wire becoming energized with reactive power.The conservation of energy is not a law of the universe. It is a man made condition of voltage input exceeding the reactive and resistive impedances of a circuit.It should be our duty to minimize our use of input voltage and maximize our use of reactive power.Sources of energy are limited, but reactance is merely limited to the tolerance of a circuit for harboring reactance before it accumulates to the point of destroying its host-circuit.I have spent five years learning electrodynamic theory by way of gaining experience from various simulators and seeking out the opinions of electrical engineers to explain my experience.More often than not, we let public policy dictate our community values. Yet, public policy is guided by an industrialized military complex formed during WWII.I do not uphold public policy nor do I have a job position and a reputation to fear losing.
