Young and beautiful, Chloe Hall lives a glamourous life in New York, working for a high-end talent agency. However after suffering multiple injuries from a skiing accident during a winter weekend, she finds herself taking a leave of absence from her career and her social life.

Bored and feeling sorry for herself, on a whim, she answers an Internet dating service and begins an emotional affair with a divorced executive New York news reporter, Stephen Parker. Finally after many long weeks, the two agree to meet face to face.
