Killing your abusive husband should be hard, but Maria Fever is finding that pretending she didn't is even harder. So the dead last thing she needs is to be drawn towards the reality tv detective that could ruin her life, particularly as the news crews and wannabe sleuths take over Main Street.

It doesn't help that the detective is Hollywood-level hot. Shane Bolles is used to keeping secrets.
