Dr Ian Messenger is the founder of the TWELVE Financial Crime Program. Since launching in 2018, over 1200 students in 33 countries have taken financial crime courses through the Program. In 2022 Dr Messenger founded the Association of Certified Gaming Compliance Specialists, including the Certified Gaming Compliance Specialist (CGCS) certification for the casino and gaming industryDr Messenger teaches financial crime courses at various post-secondary institutions including Seneca College and Wilfrid Laurier University and regularly delivers workshops and seminars to private sector clients.In his professional practice, Dr Messenger has led financial crime investigation teams within a multinational financial institution and was the Director of Anti-Money Laundering for a Crown Corporation.
