Dr. Jamaine Mungo’s professional experience encompasses over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity implementing next-generation cyber initiatives, delivering advanced technology concepts along with researching cybersecurity risks and automated remediation solutions. He has implemented robust cybersecurity programs for the Department of Defense, State agencies and Corporations along with leading several high-level corporate initiatives regarding vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security education awareness, and process improvements with automation, system hardening, and remote access programs. He currently is a Cybersecurity executive implementing several high-level corporate initiatives and leading with innovation. He is a certified information security professional whom holds 12 cybersecurity industry certifications, proven leadership abilities, motivated team leader with a strong focus on exceeding project expectations along with attention to detail. He has been successful in deploying security policies to ensure information system compliance with high level support.Dr. Jamaine Mungo has a strong passion for teaching and sharing his technical knowledge. He enjoys learning of next-generation advanced technology developments that can have an impact on cybersecurity. He was the guest speaker at North Carolina A&T commencement ceremony. He is an adjunct professor at Cornell University, Purdue University, North Carolina A&T University, and Tulane University teaching various cybersecurity and system design courses. Dr. Jamaine Mungo has a strong passion for community service. He is the President of Kappa Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He has been awarded the distinguish award Alpha Phi Alpha Man of the Year in recognition of his leadership, guidance, dedication, enthusiasm, and contribution to the community. He has been instrumental in designing the chapter website and developed a chapter hybrid app that is available the brothers of the chapter and to the public to keep the community engaged on news and current events that are occurring. He has led several community engagements that include Free Grocery Give-Away, Voter Registration, MLK Day of service and NPHC Frontline Hero’s Lunch.Dr. Jamaine Mungo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Virginia State University, earned his master’s degree in Information Security from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, earned his doctorate in Cybersecurity from Capella University.
