Saladdin Ahmed Bahozde is a postnihilist philosopher and a critical theorist of social space. He is the author of The Death of Home (De Gruyter 2024), Critical Theory from the Margins (SUNY 2023, paperback 2024), Revolutionary Hope After Nihilism (Bloomsbury Academic 2022), and Totalitarian Space and the Destruction of Aura (SUNY Press 20219, paperback 2020). He has also published interdisciplinary journal articles, commentaries, and op-eds. His articles have been translated into other languages including Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish, German, and Hungarian, among others. He is an external researcher in the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona, an associate of the Institute for the Humanities, Simon Fraser University, and a member of the University in Exile Consortium. He had published several books and numerous articles in Kurdish, which is his mother tongue, and Arabic before migrating to Canada in end of his twenties. In addition to an MA in Language Studies (Carleton University), he holds a BA (Carleton University), an MA (Brock University), and a PhD in Philosophy (University of Ottawa).
