My name is Francesco Menzera, class of 1979, born in Taranto, the city of the two seas; after studying accountancy I obtain my diploma and immediately begin a three-year course, as a volunteer, in the Italian Navy Corps.At the end of this experience I start working in the IT sector expanding my knowledge in the field and ranging from software programming to hardware systems management. Later I also combine system management with knowledge of enterprise CRM and ERP applications and solutions. For a number of years I have been involved in application management in the private sector, at associated firms and enterprises, in local government, and in public and private health care.Currently I hold the position of Senior IT Specialist in a company in Bari dealing, together with my fantastic colleagues, with the hardware/software infrastructure (Virtualization systems, Perimeter security systems, Cloud systems, Network infrastructure, Backup systems, DHCP servers, DNS servers, Proxy servers, Office 365, WSUS systems, Monitoring systems, Active Directory, VoIP System PBX).Since 2005, I also turned my passion for photography into a profession and started a photography studio.My character is constantly pervaded by rationality and creativity, often conflicting components that I always try to dose in a balanced way... I love good food, good wine, talking (a lot) and organizing events (since 2023 I have been vice president of the Association Cryptaliae Events that deals with promoting the territory and local events).Having always been passionate about technology, I cannot see an “end” to my thirst for knowledge and in-depth study of any subject and this leads me, often, to become passionate even in areas that are not closely related to each other.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
