I grew up on a farm in Missouri with multiple brothers and sisters. Several of the Aunts and Uncles lived nearby. I used to tell people I was born in Paris and lived in Mexico. Which was true, only the Paris and Mexico I lived in were in the Show Me State of Missouri.I write novellas because like a lot of people I find that it takes a great deal of time to read most books. It took me almost two weeks to finish Tara Westover's Educated and the same for American Dirt. My novellas can be read in the time it takes to watch a movie. Each of them include some true-to-life experiences that either I had growing up or one of my siblings had or one of my other relatives. I take that experience and expand on it creating fictional characters and events. Growing up my sisters and I used to find the magazines my mother would read and hide from us because she thought we were to young to read them.
