Ziel dieser Studie ist es, das ölhaltige Produktionswasser (OPW) mit dem natürlichen Polymer Chitosan auf der Basis von Flockung zu behandeln, um einen maximalen Verarbeitungsdurchsatz zu erreichen.
Die natürlichen Polymere (Chitin und Chitosan) wurden hergestellt, um Öltröpfchen aus dem produzierten Wasser auf dem Ölfeld zu adsorbieren. Anschließend wurde die physikalische und chemische Charakterisierung von Chitin und Chitosan durchgeführt.
Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass Chitosan in der Lage ist, mehr Öl zu adsorbieren als Chitin. .
