Author Name
Sarah Reeves (Author)
Sarah has always enjoyed maths & photography and has recently brought this passion to life, through the creation of the Charlie Maths books. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science with a Double Major in Pure Mathematics and Psychology and then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Education. Sarah enjoys taking often complex concepts and simplifying & demystifying them. Charlie is a beautiful handmade doll, made for my daughter, who has been personified to create simple stories to explain mathematical concepts to children. The stories are usually set outside to encourage children to use their imagination and look about them to see our amazing natural world. The Charlie Maths books are designed to teach children the early concepts of mathematics, simply through storytelling. The visual use of photography, and Charlie, describe each mathematical concept that the classroom teacher can then leverage into a lesson. When Sarah is not creating new Charlie Maths books she enjoys cooking, being outside, spending time with family and friends and travelling. Read more about this authorRead less about this author

Charlie loves to share. This book explores the concept of odd & even numbers.

The story follows Charlie and Sam and the concept that when a number is shared between 2, an odd number always has 1 left over, while even numbers can be shared evenly (and equally) between two.
