Amelia Barker Carpenter nicknamed "Micki" was born in NC. At six years old I gave my heart to Jesus. I grew up in a Christian home I participated in ministries with my parents, Rev. Johnnie and Sadie Barker, and The Prophetic Message Television Program. My husband and I pastored churches in SC and NC before he passed. When I married Charles Carpenter we formed The Carpenter's Kids Club Crusades, with Professor Diddledaddle and served churches throughout the Carolinas. I worked for Good Will Publishers, several newspapers, and published my column "And the Good News is". I am also published by Noble House Publishers, Poetry Division and The Union Gospel Press. My book, "The Creator's Temporary - On Assignment" recently published by Christian Faith Publishing is now available. Amazing short stories of true events in my life, where I was on Temporary Assignment from God. I was there when a car sailed into the air and a body fell through the rear window, when a young woman was kidnapped, when two run-away teenagers were rescued. I was there when miracles happened to abused children, when a wrongfully accused man was arrested. I witnessed miracles of hopeless drug abusers delivered and many more events.
