SynopsisAn eternal struggle begins anew…. The Empire of Zukaria is on the brink of conquering the known world.

Only two nations remain, Pilka and Midia. The story begins in a barren wilderness, as the armies of Zukaria and Pilka stand ready to wage war.

Prince Zuka and his younger brother, Prince Avron, lead their beloved Empire to victory. Avron, the protagonist, unwilling to live a life of war and politics, plans to marry his childhood friend, Priestess Shimsha.

Alas, their marriage is forbidden, for priestesses must marry only priests. To compound the young couple's sorrow, a dreadful love triangle develops: during the siege of Pilka, Avron had risked his life to save Rose, a Pilkan princess, inadvertently winning her heart.

A peace treaty between the two kingdoms is later drafted: Prince Avron of Zukaria and Princess Rose of Pilka are to marry to unite the hitherto embattled kingdoms. Led by his foolish, young heart, Avron deceives all and secretly marries Shimsha, the woman of his heart's choosing.

Avron's married life is sweet but devastatingly short-lived. Lurking in the darkness, an ancient enemy of mankind is resurrected.

In a world of powerful, forgotten sorcery, remnant witches resurrect their mistress, the all-powerful Sorceress, Caelestia Sorrowind, the Dark Mother. Though Zukaria finally conquers Midia and becomes the first empire to achieve total world domination, Caelestia – embittered by an ancient past of brutal, horrific betrayal she shall never forget – swiftly divides the empire.

The first part of the trilogy ends with the desperate Zukarian people forced to choose between their beloved king and the sorceress – with destructive civil war pending as the sorceress craftily plots her insurrection. Innocence and happiness are forever destroyed by the ensuing civil war and return of Sorceress Caelestia’s army of fiends, ghouls and evil spirits, the Dark Order.
