The second book in The Broken Series. Ramsey and Alita have returned home, and they have to choose between two courses of action.

Do you follow the direction of the President by exposing the rebellion? Or do they instead expose the spies from the city? Alita has no intention of obeying the President, but will Ramsey go along with her if it means never being able to return to the world of his dreams? They have important information that will help the rebellion against the city but they have to find the rebellion first. Surviving in the wild will be more dangerous than ever with new threats and creations used by the city to control the people.

The Inner Circle who rules the city along with the President have their own plans for how to deal with the growing rebellion but they are not united in their approach. Some of them are more fanatical than the others, and have more extreme methods they want to employ.

Broken Systems continues the story found in Broken Dreaming and explores the breakdown of the worlds social systems. .
