Dr. Karen Parker Davidson, RN is a renowned expert in the field of nasal function, objective nasal measurements, the interpretation of the data for treatment options and clinical progress, and the instruments used to capture the measurement data. For more than three decades, she has held several positions in the medical device industry, various clinical nursing positions, and specialty certifications in the private sector, as well as time in the US Air Force Reserves as a Flight and Critical Care Nurse. As a respected and award-winning educator and adjunct Professor at Liberty University and Central Michigan University, she has conducted numerous workshops and seminars sharing her insights and techniques with fellow professionals in the dental and healthcare fields. Many of her lectures and talks can be heard as a guest on podcasts and webinars. Her research can be found in medical journals and magazines discussing airway disorders, in her new book "Breathe Through Your Nose, Don’t Pay Through It: The Impact the Healthcare Industry Has on Nasal Function and How We Breathe", and as a co-author of upcoming releases, "The Power of the Tongue In the Beginning, We Were All Tongue Tie" and "Sleep Apnea and Pregnancy: The Female Response to Sleep Breathing Disorders", and as a contributing author to "Growing Into Breathing Problems: The Quest for Collaborative Lifetime Solutions", and "Health Informatics and Patient Safety in Times of Crisis". She holds a Doctor of Health Administration degree with a focus in Health Policy, three Master degrees in Health Services Administration, Nursing, and Education, a Bachelor degree in Nursing, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, awarded and recognized as one of the top 50 women leaders in the Washington DC area in 2022, and nominated for the 2023 Carolina Nursing Alumni Award for outstanding contributions to the field of nursing and research. .She believes in the power of early intervention and the transformative impact it can have on one's quality of life with her work and portfolio of copyrights, trademarks, and pending patents in airway algorithms, processes, interpretation software, and airway AI.
