Alexandra Couts, Ph.D. (also known as Alexandra Antunes) is a Portuguese-American writer and experimental poet. With over 14 years of experience as an editor and publisher, she has a rich background in her field.Her academic journey began in 2005 when she enrolled at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Nova University of Lisbon. She’s achieved significant educational milestones, including a B.A. in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies (2009), an M.A. in Editing and Publishing (2011), and a Ph.D. in History and Theory of Ideas (2018).During the fourteen years she dedicated to academic studies, Alexandra wrote poetry and has translated and published poetry books. Her poems and articles have been published in literary and academic magazines.During her time in academia, Alexandra didn’t limit herself to just studying. She passionately wrote poetry, translated and published poetry books, and had her work featured in literary and academic magazines.She also explored visual poetry and even started her own small independent publishing house.
