My name is Luca Pedetti, I was born in Italy, in Rome, in 1985, I am married and have two children. I am passionate about programming, culture, food, sailing and flying. From a young age, I have wanted to combine the technological and humanistic aspects of progress. Intertwined with my academic career, I developed my professional career, which began in 2008, as a consultant for the Finmeccanica Group (now Leonardo), working on computer systems for the armed forces. After a brief period of management experience as a freelancer in short food supply chains, in Italy and abroad, I returned to the IT sector, with the aim of putting innovation into practice. After years of research in 2019, I co-founded an Italian innovative startup in which I had the technical guidance and with which in three years I implemented a novel blockchain architecture. Having completed my entrepreneurial experience in 2021, I am currently an advisor for distributed ledger technologies in the Effort Cube Group, through whose sub-holding DotBeyond the blockchain technology-based Web3 Maenoox software is being released, of which I am also the first customer, having created an NFT of the Manuscript. I am a contributor of the paper published by the Defence Staff, entitled ‘The Impact of Emerging Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) on Defence (2022) and I have long-standing collaborations within NATO on this topic. ‘Blockchain! Roger ’ is my first authored publication, in which I make my experience available to neophytes or interested parties, to orient themselves in the articulated and fascinating path of knowledge and understanding of an emerging technology, which will be the cornerstone of progress.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
