For two years since 2018, a prospective comparative study was carried out on 356 patients, with serum PAPP-A and PLGF assays in the first trimester of pregnancy, to assess their predictive capacity for preeclampsia. Serum PAPP-A and PlGF concentrations were significantly lower in the group of women who had developed preeclampsia than in the control group.
