He was awarded with David Alfaro Siqueiros 2006-2007’s grant given by the Chihuahuan Institute of Culture to write his book “Geografías y biografías en la otra América” / “Geograpahies and Biographies in the Other America”. His chronicles, short stories, essays, interviews, and poems have appeared in different magazines from Mexico, the United States of America, and Europe, such as “La Palabra y el Hombre” [The Word and the Man], “Plural” [Plural], “Revista de Literatura Mexicana Contemporánea” [Contemporary Mexican Literature Magazine], “Circunloquios” [Circumlocutiums] y “Synthesis” [Synthesis].As a professional, he was recognized as one of the most influential people in the United States of America by the publication Marquis Who’s Who (2013) and his credentials were listed them in the editions 58th (2004) y 59th (2005) of Who’s Who in America and in the seventh edition (2006) of Who’s Who in American Education. Likewise, his biography was approved by Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals 2004/2005.Between August of 2012 and August of 2023, he has published in his blog “Bitacoraoscar” one thousand five texts of creative writing (short story and poetry] and of newspaper articles (chronicle, interview, and report], and different articles on the following areas of the scientific and humanist knowledege: plastic arts, science, cinema, sports, history, indigenism, literature, music, politics, religion, health, society, television, and urbanism. He received the bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature in the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, he obtained the Master Degree in Spanish American Literature in New Mexico State University and graduated with the Ph.D. in Spanish American Literature in the University of Arizona.He worked as a journalist in the newspapers Novedades de Chihuahua [Latest News from Chihuahua] (1983-1984) and Diario de Chihuahua [Newspaper from Chihuahua] (1985). He was a Hispanic language and literature teacher and professor in Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey campus Chihuahua [the Technological Institute and of Graduate School of Monterrey of Chihuahua campus] (1986-1990), New Mexico State University (1991-1993), the University of Arizona (1993-1998), California State University in Fresno (1998-2001), Dickinson College from Pennsylvania (2001-2003), Angelo State University from Texas (2003-2004), Indiana University Bloomington (2005-2006, 2007-2008), and University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa (2009-2010). He had practiced as an English / Spanish translator for the Niparajá Society C. S. from Baja California Sur (2018-2023). El jovencito Fernando asume su segunda aventura en pos del amor de la bella Rosa en el pueblo de San Andrés, Chihuahua, a principios de la década de los setenta. Vive otra vez en la casona de sus abuelos maternos y atraviesa por una serie de peripecias durante las vacaciones de verano, justo cuando ambos enamorados se aprestan a estudiar la secundaria en la capital del estado de Chihuahua.

El mancebo se enfrenta a varias dificultades con la familia de su amada, pasa por muchas dudas sobre el amor de ella y advierte la aparición de un misterioso rival en amores. Todas estas experiencias y adversidades lo hacen madurar como persona y descubre nuevas costumbres sociales, a la vez que forja una temprana identidad como varón adolescente.

Es, en breve, la trama de la segunda novela de la serie “Aventuras del primer amor”. Esta vez la novela es narrada por el propio Fernando como protagonista, lo cual dota de intimidad sentimental, una fina reflexión y gran frescura narrativa al relato, al mismo tiempo que desarrolla un lenguaje coloquial propio del medio rural chihuahuense.
