Valerie grew up in small southern towns. She was blessed to come from a culture where life revolved around Jesus and family. She always had a vibrant imagination and enjoyed all things media related. As a young adult, she attended Lee University, where she majored in telecommunications. After college, she enjoyed a very successful career working as a video editor. She has worked for both local networks and a national entertainment network. During this time, she met and married Steven.After getting married, she continued working until she was blessed with her first child. After becoming a mother, she found that her heart’s desire was to be a stay-at-home mother and a wife. Since making that decision, she and Steven have become the proud parents of four biological children and two children they adopted from foster care.While her first loves will always be God and her family, she has never lost her passion for crafting an engaging story. Her desire is to give her readers stories that will take them on an entertaining journey of romance and spiritual awakening.
