Maurizio "Bozorius" BozziElectric and double bass.I've been playing bass since 1971, I became a pro session man and through the years performed in tours and recording studios with italian pop stars (Pupo, Masini, Raf, Fiordaliso, Baldi, Zucchero, Ramazzotti, Ranieri, Falagiani, Parisini, Bigazzi).In 1981 I met Angel "Pocho" Gatti a pianist, arranger and composer from Argentina, known for his contributes to Frank Sinatra, Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker and Astor Piazzolla, and began my jazz career playing with renowed international artists as:Larry Coryell, Alphonse Mouzon, Al Di Meola, Ted Curson, Michel Portal, Paolo Fresu, Fabio Morgera, Stefano Cocco Cantini, Marco Tamburini, Shunzo Ono, Flavio Boltro, Paolo Fresu, Burhan Ocal, Allan Zavod, Enrico Granafei.In 1982 started a cooperation with the pianist, composer and arranger Fabrizio Festa, together we founded a jazz-rock band named "FESTA GROUP", publishing two albums "Congo Square" and "Montreux Live" and one cd "Strings"and guests, for two years in succession, in the international jazz festival of Montreux (1988-89).I am the author of three acclaimed didactical books for electric bass (Berben/Curci publishing).
