It aims to document the emotions, challenges, and dreams of individuals both within and outside of work hours.

The camaraderie and loyalty among coworkers often led to lifelong friendships. The demanding nature of the work necessitated a skilled and robust workforce, which was compensated with some of the era's highest wages.

Through firsthand accounts and stories passed down through generations, the aim is to portray the ordinary lives of those who worked at the Barrow Pulp Paper Mills from 1888 to 1972. These narratives, often shared with children or recounted by elderly individuals, are vital for preserving the memories of a bygone era.
