He is Japanese and was born in Hyogo Prefecture in the Kansai region. After working in the construction industry as an electrical designer, he began working on overseas projects in 2000. He has mainly worked as an engineer on overseas railway projects such as the Taiwan Shinkansen project, the Dubai Metro project, the Indonesian double-track project, and recently the Red Line in Thailand and the railway maintenance project in Myanmar. During the Great Tohoku Earthquake, he was dispatched to install sludge tanks at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. He also has a track record of activities in the NGO field, including participating in border flood relief projects in Somalia, North Korea famine relief projects, and Papua New Guinea famine relief projects, as well as serving as the chairman of the Borderless Relief Association NPO. He has a unique background having participated in many projects around the world, especially in developing countries. Through his experiences, he also noticed changes in his own body and realized the importance of autophagy. He then learned Katakamuna, an ancient Japanese book, and came to strongly recognize the importance of balance between the mind and body through the harmony of autophagy and Katakamuna. He uses his own experiences in his writings and is working hard on his writing activities.
