Aria believes that she is an ordinary young lady born into a privileged family. She lives alone with her two cats in a grand house; a home which is left to her by her deceased parents.

Unexplainable, mysterious, and unaccountable happenings begin to take place and gradually unfold around her. One day, Aria makes a shocking discovery about who she is and where she comes from; her whole world and all that she has ever known is turned upside down.

It becomes clear that the supernatural forces have a huge part to play. Aria is in grave danger, and her survival is key to the future of the world.

She is destined to be 'great' but what side will Aria choose? Aria must uncover the truth about her past before she embarks on a magical journey with her companions to save the world. Aria's companions return in the second part of the story to protect her and shelter her from the evil that exists as well as from her enemy, but will Aria and her companions succeed in their mission? Aria's great escape takes her from home in London to her place of birth in the realms of the Arabian desert.

There she learns to harness her powers, whilst desperately holding on to the good within her Aria is tormented by visions and voices. Aria's friends seek to protect her from those that are out to get her and keep her from harms way.

They are desperate to keep Aria safe, and her secret hidden, but for how long?The author's love of English literature, fantasy, classical mythology and Arabian folklore inspired her to write and continue this story about her leading character Aria.
