Amadanyo Oguara, a resident of Kent, Washington is a prolific songwriter, world music artist, storyteller, actor (Thin Skin-2019), cultural enthusiast, and playwright, with interest in stage musical productions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Washington Seattle and an M.A. in Cultural Studies from University of Washington Bothell.The Singing Forest is Amadanyo Oguara's 5th book and latest entry in his conscious endeavor to bring cultural awareness on environmental issues in some parts of the world. Amadanyo Oguara's third book Danku of Nembe Kingdom (Published 2021), available currently only in Paperback, narrates a fictional and fascinating global adventures in the 16th Century of a young African Prince of the Nembe Kingdom, with his unlikely banished Twelve English Prisoners turned Sailors on the High Seas to other Continents, and a safe return back to the Nembe Kingdom, culminating in his coronation as King - "Amayanabo", and then sudden exile and eventual return back to the Nembe Kingdom. A drama that unfolds with Adventures and Conflicts of a young Prince with the earliest intrusions of the Europeans into the Coastal Kingdoms of West Africa. Amadanyo's second book, Asanda of Agirisaba, available as eBook and in paperback on Amazon Books is the sci-fi story of an African heroine princess from Agirisaba, a sub-kingdom of The Nembe Kingdom of Nigeria, in West Africa, who by abduction, journeys to a "Fascinating Alien World Of Saturna" and acquires "Weapons of Magical Powers" from the Saturnian Moons of Ringa, Sworda, Spearda, and Shielda and returns back to Earth to become an "Intermediary of Peace and Environmental Crusader" in The Coastal Kingdoms of The Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. The book written for all those who love a good Science Fiction Story, also fulfills Oguara’s vision of the African female heroine and is thus for all Black/African Women, Girls, Queens, and Princesses who need a story of female heroines told in their image. Earlier in 2020, Amadanyo Oguara published his first book, Fisherman’s Son, which follows his childhood adventures in the fishing villages of Nembe, Nigeria and in the big cities of Lagos and Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and an unlikely Quantum Leap to United States of America to achieve educational success.
