Dopo la traduzione “versetto per versetto” del Vangelo di Marco, l’autore ha deciso di provare ad applicare lo stesso principio anche a un altro scritto del Nuovo Testamento: l’Apocalisse di Giovanni, il libro che chiude la Bibbia Cristiana “ufficiale”. Lungi dal voler fornire un tentativo di esegesi teologica dell’opera, questa traduzione rappresenta, nelle intenzioni di chi l’ha fatta, uno strumento di conoscenza diretta del testo mediante una tecnica particolare: a ogni versetto greco segue una proposta di traduzione italiana, che non è interlineare tra una riga e l’altra del greco, né presenta quest’ultimo a fronte, come è stato fatto per molte altre edizioni delle Sacre Scritture.

L’utente finale è lo studente o il cultore della disciplina che voglia avere davanti agli occhi il testo originale di ogni singolo versetto (nella ventottesima edizione Nestle Aland) seguito immediatamente dalla sua traduzione italiana. .
