Cain, I aimed to create a flawed yet compelling figure who often finds himself saying and doing the wrong things.My literary influences span a wide spectrum, from the timeless prose of John Steinbeck to the hard-boiled mysteries of Raymond Chandler and Walter Mosley, and the sharp wit of Elmore Leonard. While I humbly acknowledge that my work may not reach the heights of these masters, I take pride in delivering gripping narratives filled with unexpected twists and surprise endings, as attested by the reviews on platforms like Amazon and Goodreads.After the unfortunate closure of my former publishers, I took the leap into self-publishing, making my entire Phil Allman series available on Amazon.
