A year later Lana completed our family.Mother built Liberty ships and B-29 bulkheads for bombers at Boeing. I attended grade schools throughout the state of Washington, spent high school immersed in football, trampoline, badminton, the school newspaper, yearbook, drama and student government, graduating in 1960.I met Pamela Timmons at Warner Pacific College, asked her to marry me and we wed in Newberg, Oregon, August 28, 1964, a year before I graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon.In 1966 we drove the Alcan to Anchorage, Alaska, where I taught and coached at A.J. Dimond High. From 1968 to 1973 we had three children. Five publishers asked me to write.
