Mara Duryea is based in Arizona. She's writing her fingers to death and can't wait for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween.She loves to run around in the forest, have a good laugh, and likes to sit around outside at night telling ghost stories. Of course there comes a point when she needs to go in, because she might see something. Imagination or real, you decide.Mara went to Alchesay High School on the Fort Apache Reservation, and then she went to a community college, and then updated to Brigham Young University, where she graduated with a bachelor's in history.She has a keen interest in fashion history, but she only found that out after graduation. She enjoys watching Bob Ross paint and loves to read like crazy. Sometimes she wishes she had penned some of those stories floating around out there, because they're so good.Mara has recently discovered Symphonic Metal, which is a music genre she's never heard the likes of before. Her favorite Symphonic Metal band is Nightwish. She also likes Dark Sarah and Xandria. She's discovering more as she goes. She especially likes to listen to many of these songs when she's writing fight scenes.Mara owns a pillow with a bear on it, a glass tiger, the portrait of a cougar, and her room looks like a small library when it doesn't look like it threw up. She'll clean it after she's done writing. While her room is a wreck, she likes to keep herself clean. Sometimes she's the only clean thing in the room when she's writing.Nri Kryne is Mara's first book, the second is with her editor, she's written the rough draft of the third, and the fourth is nearing the climax. The last two were both done in 2020, and Mara has no clue how it happened.
