The author is a recipient of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) Delhi Post-Doctoral Fellowship (2022-23). He is currently doing postdoctoral research at the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University - Regional Campus Manipur. He has presented various research papers on social and human rights issues at national and international seminars. He has published several research papers in national and international journals and contributed a chapter on human rights and refugees to an edited book, Human Rights (Contemporary Issues). He is currently an editorial member of the Edwin Group of Journals (UGC Approved).He has taught in schools and colleges for three years and has worked with several NGOs in various roles. For two years, he worked as a Protection Officer at the Social Legal Information Centre (SLIC) - United Nations, a joint refugee assistance program of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Delhi. During his service at SLIC-UNHCR, he conducted various legal training programs for refugee rights and domestic violence for refugees and asylum seekers. He holds certificates in courses such as Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) from UNHCR, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) from UNICEF, and a certificate course on Defending Dignity: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights from Amnesty International.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
