I was born in Houston, Texas. I attended Spring Branch Senior High School. I have four years of college from various universities. I joined the US Army May 21, 1973. After basic, AIT and Airborne training I was assigned to the 2nd Inf. Div. 1/32 Recon at Camp Casey in South Korea. It was in Korea I sustained several severe and traumatic TBIs and developed PTSD. I was honorably discharged from active-duty May 20, 1976. May 21, 1976, I joined the Texas National guard 36th Airborne Div. 1/141 out of Houston, TX. I also on the same day went to work for Best Industries as a Machinist. I worked at Best Industries for five years then I resigned and went to work at Texsteam Corp. (TXT) as a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer. I worked at TXT for five years. During this time, I was active in the Texas National Guard. In 1982 I decided to attend OCS and I completed OCS June 1983 and was promoted to 2nd LT. My first assignment was TAC Officer at the OCS Academy. After two years I was promoted to 1st LT. I am a dual black hat. I was a jumpmaster as SSG and then as a TAC officer. After I was a TAC officer I was assigned to an infantry company as a platoon leader at Camp Bullies north of Austin, TX. After severing twelve years in the Texas National Guard, in 1987 I transferred to the Army inactive Reserve. I was retired May 20th, 1993. I resigned from TXT and went to work for Pathtrace Corp.as Regional Manager selling Edgecam CAD/CAM CNC Programming systems. I married Sarah Ann Garner August 1987; we have been married thirty-two years. 2007 I resigned and went to work for MIC Group as a Manufacturing Engineer soliciting manufacturing work from corporations like, National Oil Well, Weatherford, GE Oil & Gas, Baker Oil Tools, and numerous additional companies. By 2016 my TBI and PTSD symptoms had deteriorated so significantly I had to resign MIC Group and I finally went to the VA for assistance. They diagnosed I had a TBI and PTSD. It only took the VA six months to determine that I was 100% disabled permanently and totally from the TBI and PTSD I endured while on active duty serving in South Korea at Camp Casey. I am now retired, writing my first book. My areas of interest are American and Texas History, and Numatics American gold and silver coins. My Grandfather and Grandmother immigrated in 1929 to Houston Texas from Sudetenland. My Grandfather built custom furniture. My father was born in Houston, Texas. He is a veteran of WWII, and he served under General George Patton in Europe and was part of the Battle of the Bulge. After he returned home, he married my mother and was an inspector for Cameron Iron Works in Houston, Texas. My mother was a register OB nurse. I have three brothers and one sister. I am the oldest. I have two children by my first marriage and two children with Sarah. I started writing to try and improve my brain function. I kept on writing because I figured out, I like to tell a story. I have spent two years so far writing this story. I have really enjoyed writing Mrs. Texas Ranger.
