Born in England, I've lived in Scotland, the USA and New Zealand and I'm now living in Wales near the Snowdonian mountains.For me, writing is a spiritual practice. It's the way I open to inspiration and connect with Whole Mind. When I'm writing, intelligence comes to me from Soul, from the Universe, from the Earth. My job as a writer is to take all of that energy and information and express it in a way that will touch and move the reader. Developing my skills as a writer has been a lifelong practice and I always feel like a beginner. Books have been very important in my life - they've fed me and shaped me and given me hope and direction. I want to pass on what I've received to my readers. When I was 28, poems spontaneously started to pour through me speaking with a wisdom I didn't recognise. This first opening into the inner world became a lifelong quest to discover my authentic self which led me into many adventures. Soon after, in my role as an adult educator supporting health professionals and community leaders, I discovered I have a gift for identifying emerging learning needs in the field, initiating training programmes and writing and publishing materials to support those needs. By my early 40's my soul was longing to connect in a new way. I followed that longing, took a leap of faith and moved to the wilderness in the far North West Highlands of Scotland where I devoted myself to writing and spiritual development. That was the beginning of my Soul Journey which soon led me to Aotearoa-New Zealand where I stayed for the best part of 20 years. Since then I have written and published five books: Migration to the Heartland: A Soul Journey in the Land of the Awakening Dawn (2005); Living Your Passion: How Love-in-action is Seeding a Whole New World (2008); True Wealth: Money and the Making of a New Collaborative Culture (2012) Whole Mind-Whole World: The Power of Wise Choices - Creating a Future that Works For All. (2019) and A Story of Transformation, How grieving my brother's death brought me gifts of healing and awakened me to pur power to renew the world (2024).I've developed my own approaches to transformational learning and created a body of work online through Tribe in Transition and the Sitting with Death and Choosing Life Programme. My intention is to contribute to the renewal and ensouling of our world by providing books and resources which Educate, Encourage, Empower and Equip people to move through transitions of consciousness to our next stage of development as conscious, creative beings.
