Erica D’Arcangelo is the granddaughter of Pete (Pietro) D’Arcangelo and the firstborn daughter of Emery D’Arcangelo. She was born in Windber, Pennsylvania, and grew up in D’Arc’s Pizza Shop along with her parents, four siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins making and eating pizza before she could walk or talk. Throughout her life, she was taught about her Italian heritage as she listened to stories from her grandparents and parents even living abroad in Italy at the age of sixteen years old. Erica is the CEO of a marketing company but, most importantly is a content creator and a storyteller. She was moved by her grandfather’s struggle as a Berwind-White coal miner who carried out his life-long dream of opening an Italian pizzeria and family business. Over the last few years, she has worked with her father for the pizzeria as a marketing manager and content creator on the business’s many social media pages and websites.
