Chuck Dean is the author of numerous books varying in style and theme. He served as a U.S. Army paratrooper during the Vietnam War, and through that experience was led to write his first several books addressing the transitional issues veterans struggle with when coming home from a war zone. Chuck's first book published in 1987, “Nam Vet: Making Peace with Your Past”—with over two million in print—continues to help Veterans with readjustment issues. “Some Came Home: A Story of Returning”, is a fictional portrayal of many of the issues veterans are challenged with. His recent books, “Gaibian; The Change" and ”By Way of War" are dramatic reads of impacting times on entire cultures.(“‘Nam Vet’ is an intensely personal book in which Dean bares his life and soul.
