Hamdia Fouad is a poet who was born and grew up in Sohag , a small governorate in Upper Egypt. There she went to the university to pursue her love of English literature. She received Bachelor of Arts in English. She currently lives there with her family. She adores English and writes poetry . Hamdia is a literary figure from the Middle East . She is a member of USG (United Global Sisterhood) This is a group of poetesses from all over the world . She represents woman in the Middle East in particular and Arab woman in general. She shared in two anthologies with (UGS) Women of Passion and Women of Substance in 2016Her writings focus on non-traditional poetry that addresses common human themes. Through writing, she aims to support woman. Her experience in life gives her a deeper understanding of liberation value that inspires her writing .After sharing her poetry in her website for years, she self-published her first book of poetry A silent Woman Speaks up. The book is self-published, revised and expanded edition is now available in book store around the world.She has often on the road creating, teaching and performing in hopes of spreading her unique inspirational message and inviting others in her creative process. Her book is an organic expression of the grace and hope we've given in this world. Early in her life she discovered emotional pain to be a sustainable resource for art and creation and she hasn't stopped writing since.Her poems touch readers around the world. She hopes to be a safe space for inspiration and empowerment for years to come .She creates her work around the stories of others .She spends her days writing and working on many projects.
