This is the story of a young woman who lived in 1646 in a famous place known as the Puritan era. She lived a quiet life surrounded by nature, the chirping of birds was her favorite early morning melody, and as a hummingbird her favorite insect was watching her suck the pollen nutrients from a flower.

She lived with her mother and stepfather, who was the Village preacher. One day at his church, she met a young man her age (both were 14, although she looked as if she was 17).

They got to know each other secretly, hoping not to get caught by the Preacher. She spent her first night giving her heart to her first love, always hoping that he would marry her and not leave her, as he eventually did.

Leaving her used and sad. Weeks passed and the inevitable happened to her, she was young and waiting for her first baby.

There was nothing she could do, most young girls her age took their own lives before giving birth. when her stepfather found out she wasn't uttering a single word.

She was believed to be a “disgrace” to the village, not to mention the family. One day she was in the forest pondering what to do… She had cried so much that day looking at the branches of the trees, she saw how the green branches gave way to the sunlight, it seemed magical to her.

Returning home, she saw her stepfather standing there chopping wood with an axe! Putting her hands together, she touched the tree’s trunk with her fingers and slowly walked back home, she raised her head towards the sunny sky, and as she walked, she was hit on the head… She was known as Monique of the village as a Princess. Buthere is another character, an attorney general named Amalia who is connected to a statue under the name of Monique as it was a purchase done from her sister who went missing and found dead in France.
