Lena Simone’Lena Simone was born spring of 1968 and raised in the rough streets of N.Y.C. Though coming from a dysfunctional upbringing, she overcame childhood trauma such as; rape, molestation, physical, mental, and emotional abuse.There were many nights while everyone was asleep, she would sit on the fire escape and write. Her writing was her only way of escaping the reality of abuse. She would think to herself “I will get out of here; I refuse to be a product of my environment!” She did just that. Lena Simone accomplished mental and emotional growth by taking her horrific experiences, putting them into her writing and making them her steppingstones to her future VS. being a “Victim “. She earned her Associates degree in Business Management. Lena is a mother of 4 birth children, adoptive mother of 3 and a proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren. She hopes that in finally telling her truth, she can encourage those who have gone through abuse, infidelity, and childhood trauma to know and have faith in the process that all things will ONLY make you stronger!Lena Simone now resides in Florida.
