Ayoka Brown was born and raised in Jamaica and the United Kingdom. Her hobbies include painting, cooking, baking, working with children, and learning more about the Jewish culture.

Her inspiration for this book came from seeking and listening to the voice of God along with her personal faith struggles and journey, God's forgiveness, and demonstrating the importance of never giving up. .
