Carlton Forbes is a professor of communicative English at Hankyong National University, in Anseong, South Korea. Mr. Forbes is married to Wanda (Turner) and together they have three sons. He is the author of three books: ESL Handbook: an Interactive Study Guide, Task-Based Communicative English, and ESL Bible Workbook. Mr. Forbes was born and raised on the island of Jamaica, in the West Indies. He immigrated to the US in 1981. He attended Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College) and graduated in 1994 with a bachelor of social work (BSW) degree. Mr. Forbes has lived and worked in South Korea for more than a decade. During that time, he has preached in many of the major Korean cities. He has also written and published numerous articles on various topics in the Korea Herald, & Times; Joongang Daily, and the online daily, The Seoul Times (theseoultimes.com). Mr. Forbes also enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, bicycle riding, hiking, mountain climbing, rollerblading, and playing just about any sports his three boys are interested in. In addition to reading and writing, Mr. Forbes likes traveling, and sharing his thoughts on various topics to eager audiences.
