I am a neurosurgeon, neurologist, and oncologist. For 25 years, I dedicated myself to oncological neurosurgery. It was a magnificent journey. I created and gave the first impulse to the neurosurgery service at the Fundação Pio XII in Barretos-SP, Brazil. Later, I dedicated myself to the Institute of Neurosciences in Araraquara and also in Barretos. There, I consolidated my vocation for research in complexity and nonlinear dynamics. Alongside my son Thalles, a neurologist, I established our cognition research laboratory. Currently, my interest is to enhance the laboratory and to write, as writing liberates me, allows me to soar to greater heights, and dream.Sou neurocirurgiao, neurologista e oncologista.
