Scott's interest is the glory of God. "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14) When the knowledge of God is spread abroad, and men and women have a proper understanding of God's greatness and character, it transforms their lives into the most incredible adventure of discovering His will for them and living it out. As they follow the Lord, His Word opens up to them and they grasp that the author of the Bible is personally instructing them. Then, their prayer time becomes a heartfelt communion. They are also able to have interactive experiences with the Lord all day long as He prompts their thoughts to be spiritually minded and as they discern how He is coordinating the various circumstances of the day. Scott enjoys explaining the Bible, door-to-door soulwinning, time alone with God in the study and prayer, and having family devotions at the dinner table. Some of his favorite pastimes are throwing the football with his boys, traveling the country, and following college football. (It just so happened that the same year his first three books were published, his boyhood favorite college football team also won the national championship, coincidence or providence?) The family recently completed a fifty-state tour to get a hands-on, first-person feel for the country. On their journey, they were able to experience all of the big cities, hike in every national park accessible by road, and visit many churches.
