Robbyn was adopted from Colombia, South America. She was brought to the United States by her adopted parents where she grew up in California. At an early age, she realized she liked to write. It all began with writing letters to people and it evolved from there to writing a blog, to writing on social media platforms and then eventually writing a book, A Chosen Child. It is truly a story of overcoming.Robbyn's book will be translated into Spanish soon.Writing is a calling for Robbyn and she thoroughly enjoys it. She hopes to write more books in other genres. In addition to writing, she enjoys walks on the beach, bike riding, wine tasting, reading, spending time with her husband (who is retired), her daughter and son-in-love and friends. “There are valuable lessons in this book that will shape your thinking. ” -Graham CookeFREEDOM THROUGH HOPE AND IDENTITY ARE CLOSER THAN YOU THINK.

Adoption is a wonderful blessing, but oftentimes, it comes with thoughts and emotions which can be detrimental. The joy of adoption is meant for good, but the enemy of our soul can find his way into the situation and wreak havoc.

Many adoptees are stuck in unhappiness and depression. The struggles of rejection and unworthiness can seep deep into the hearts of those adopted.

Robbyn’s transparent story of her own journey in being adopted from heartache to healing andfreedom demonstrates what is possible when you seek God and ask His Son, Jesus, to come intoyour life. Through her story, she shares what she experienced and how, with the help of Jesus, she found her way.

Healing from adoption issues and trauma is necessary and possible, as Robbyn candidly shares through her story. .
