Andrzej Juliusz Sarwa (born April 12, 1953 in Sandomierz) is a Polish writer, poet, translator and journalist.Biography:He made his debut on April 16, 1975 with three poems on the airwaves of the Second Program of Polish Radio in Warsaw; printed debut - the poem My Son in the almanac "First Message" (Sandomierz 1976). He is the winner of the First National Literary Competition named after Father Jerzy Popieluszko, Bydgoszcz 1992 - honorable mention in prose.In 1990 he became a member of the Association of Polish Authors, in 1992 - of the Association of Polish Journalists, while since 1997 he has been a member of the Polish Writers' Union.He was a member of the chapter of the Stefan Grabiński Literary Award for Polish Horror Literature.He was married to Elżbieta Sarwa, founder and long-time director and editor-in-chief of Armoryka Publishing HouseCreativity :Andrzej Sarwa's creative output includes more than 250 book publications (including publications in anthologies and collective publications) and about 1,000 press publications covering several thematic groups. These include: fiction (poetry and prose), religious studies and theology with a particular focus on eschatological issues, issues of schism and heresy, gnosis and demonology, author's translations from foreign languages, including ancient and medieval source texts of history and religion (using translations into modern languages), herbal guides and guides on the cultivation and use of domestic and exotic plants, texts on Sandomierz, the so-called Sandomiriana including tourist guides, and popular literature.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
